Important Note
10% of vacancies are reserved for Ex-Servicemen and 5% for Sports Persons (as per Punjab Government policy). Female candidates will get 33% horizontal reservation in each category.
Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Indian Citizen with domicile of Punjab state
- Age Limit (as on 01/01/2026):
– Constable: 18 to 28 years
– Sub-Inspector: 21 to 28 years
– Age relaxation: SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), Ex-Servicemen (3 years) - Educational Qualification:
– Constable: 10+2 (Intermediate) from recognized board
– Sub-Inspector: Bachelor’s degree from recognized university
– Knowledge of Punjabi language up to 10th standard is mandatory - Physical Standards:
– Height: Male – 170 cm, Female – 157 cm (relaxation for certain categories)
– Chest: Male – 83 cm (unexpanded), 87 cm (expanded)
– Physical Efficiency Test: 1600 m run, Long jump, High jump - Medical Standards: Candidates must be medically fit with 6/6 vision (correctable) and free from any physical deformity
Selection Process
Exam Pattern Details
Written Exam: 100 questions, 100 marks, 2 hours duration. Negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Minimum qualifying marks: 40% for General, 35% for SC/ST/OBC.

Application Form
Login with credentials and fill detailed application form (Personal, Educational, Category details).
Upload Documents
Upload scanned documents: Photograph (20-50 KB), Signature (10-20 KB), ID proof, Educational certificates.
Application Fee Payment
Pay application fee online: ₹1000 for General/OBC, ₹500 for SC/ST. Fee can be paid via Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
Final Submission
